The Hurley Group's proven track record reflects the Goldblum family’s two generations of achievement in commercial real estate. Founded by the late Murray Goldblum, and then joined by David Goldblum, the two worked closely together on acquisitions and formulation of general strategy before Murray passed away in 2005.

Murray Goldblum began acquiring and developing the portfolio in the 1960's with the Fairfield Avenue Industrial Zone and the Glenbrook Industrial Park; each ranking among Fairfield County Connecticut‘s most successful industrial developments. Murray's real estate endeavors complemented his 30-year career as President of Stamford Wrecking Company, one of the area's leading demolition contractors.

David Goldblum has been involved in the acquisition, development, and management of a range of residential and commercial real estate since graduating from the Yale School of Management in 1991. As project manager, and later as vice president of Telesis Corporation in Washington, D.C., David had key leadership roles in planning and developing urban neighborhoods and large-size multifamily communities. In 1996, he assumed day-to–day operational control of The Hurley Group and spearheaded the expansion of the company's portfolio beyond its initial concentration in Stamford, Connecticut. Since then, The Hurley Group has acquired and developmed office, industrial, and retail properties throughout the state.
